About PHYSIOPEDIA

Understand. Assess. Rehabilitate. Perform.

An educational physiotherapy knowledge platform for people in pain, athletes, trainers, students and physiotherapists.

Source of truth

The primary source is Rehab Science by Tom Walters and Glen Cordoza (Victory Belt, 2023). PHYSIOPEDIA does not reproduce the book’s text, photographs or illustrations. It provides original summaries, structured records and newly drawn diagrams, each tied to the PDF page it came from, and lists every study the book cites so you can read the original research.

How to read the source labels

  • 📖 Rehab Science Directly supported by Rehab Science (with chapter and PDF page).
  • ℹ Additional explanation Additional explanation from anatomy and physiology.
  • 🔬 Beyond Rehab Science Additional Evidence-Based Knowledge — Beyond Rehab Science (external citation).
  • ? Evidence uncertain Evidence uncertain or insufficient.

Three layers

  1. Knowledge Repository — structured content files for modules, conditions, protocols, exercises, tests, anatomy, glossary and references.
  2. Interactive Learning Interface — anatomy maps, condition pages, tests, exercise library, rehab pathways and the Academy.
  3. Intelligent Search — natural-language parsing, symptom matching and source-grounded answers.

Safety

This is not a diagnostic service. Clinical tests are not self-diagnostic tools. Emergency symptoms should never be managed with an exercise programme. Run the safety check.

Growing the library

Content is built in phases tracked on the Completion Tracker. New subjects can be added with the Module Studio without changing any code.
